Requirements: Ability to communicate accurately and clearly both orally and in writing; pleasant telephone manner; experience in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required; must have superior organizational skills and accuracy; excellent problem solving and people skills also required; direct experience and/or working knowledge of student management systems preferred. Knowledge of school-based electronic solutions and skill in data entry required.

Job Description: The work involves the independent performance of a variety of secretarial duties necessary for the efficient operation of a secondary school. Typical work activities include: typing correspondence, reports and evaluations; maintaining various school files and records, including student records and staff attendance; prepares, processes and authorizes purchase requisitions and vouchers.

Position:

Civil Service Position, School Secretary--Immediate need for one school secretary position and an anticipated need for another school secretary in June. Must be currently working in the title or reachable on the list.

Salary and Benefits: 18-22/hour based on years of experience

Weekly Hours/Days: 8 hours/day School Year; 6 hours/day Summer
