Summary Assistant Teacher Position (2025/2026 School Year)
Position Dependent on Enrollment At The Preschool Center, we are expanding! As part of our growth for the 2025/2026 school year, we are excited to welcome additional passionate educators to our team. Our preschool is dedicated to fostering the growth and development of children aged 3 to 5 years through a well-rounded approach that inspires curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.
Our program emphasizes hands-on learning and incorporates art, music, movement, social-emotional development, and early childhood readiness skills to support each child?s growth and development.
We are seeking an experienced, caring, and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to support our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with young children and is eager to contribute to a collaborative, engaging classroom environment.
Position Details:
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM
- Supportive Role: Assisting the Head Teacher in daily classroom activities, lesson implementation, and classroom management.

Duties Responsibilities:
-Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities for 3 and 4 year old children.
-Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning and exploration.
-Support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
-Engage with children through play, storytelling, and various educational activities.
-Help with daily routines.
-Monitor and assess children's progress and communicate findings with the head teacher.
-Collaborate with the head teacher and other staff members to ensure a well-rounded educational experience.
Requirements -Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is a plus).
-Previous experience working with preschool-aged children.
-A passion for early childhood education and a strong desire to support children's growth and development.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Patience, creativity, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
-Knowledge of child development and early childhood education best practices.
-CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
-Background check and fingerprinted required

Position is compensated hourly and rate will be determined depending on experience and certification
