Role Description
A Alliance Leader required to develop, lead and nurture a strategic 360-degree partnership [including Sell With, Sell Through, Sell To & Buy From] with a large global technology company having extensive customer base in Contact Center Technology, Cloud, Security, Self-Service, Copilot, GenAI and Conversational AI related technology areas. Alliance Leader would be the custodian & will front end HCLTech’s relationship with the client and focus on creative and non-traditional partnership models as HCL’s business needs around these technology areas evolve. The person will be responsible for creating large scale opportunities within the partnership ecosystem and the industry and also enabling similar opportunities on the table by aligning this tech company to partner far more closely with HCL. This relationship is already at a significant scale across the 360-degree coverage. Key goal is to grow this partnership especially around the Sell with & Sell Through to $ 1 B range within a short span of 3 – 4 years.

Specific Key Requirements
Over 20 years’ experience, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership position in a large blue chip enterprise Hi-tech company or top technology consulting/services firm in Enterprise Technology Domain.
In depth understanding of enterprise datacenter / cloud / and buying patterns of large scale Total Outsourcing Deals, Large Technology Refresh deals and good blend of business and emerging technology / trend know how
Very strong ability to build trusted relationship with Tier 1 CIOs and engage broader C-Suite. Strong connects and understanding of working with this specific Technology Company and ideally an ex-Employee / Partner of this company.
Has strong ability to collate / analyze / disseminate business information around pipeline / programs / marketing initiatives from diverse sources within HCL and as well from the Partner Company; both for staying on top of the objectives but also to ensure Executive Communication & Updates are insightful, timely and comprehensive.
Common Key Requirements
Seasoned business operator with track record of successfully running large programs- partnerships and alliance with global firms in the technology space with direct / indirect business growth and profitability accountability.
Experienced in selling and delivering complex technology solutions across industries and service horizontals
Deal maker with proven record of spotting and converting the large business opportunity into real deals
Have strong ability to envision & create high value services and solutions around them
Strong collaborator. Able to get / create alignment across multiple stakeholder within HCL and the partner organization. Ability to stay the course and persevere navigate complex organization structures to ensure proper alignment and support is created for success of the business.
