Description The Tool Design Engineer will report directly into the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and be responsible for: Design and develop tools, jigs, and fixtures to support manufacturing and assembly processes. Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and specifications using CAD software (SolidWorks preferred). Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and production teams to ensure tools meet operational requirements and quality standards. Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses for tool designs. Maintain and update documentation for tool designs and modifications. Profile Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 3+ years of experience in tool design Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD) Strong understanding of GD&T, materials, machining, and fabrication processes Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
