We are searching for a Temporary Accountant to join our team.

Our unique work schedule sets us apart - we operate Monday through Thursday, with four 10-hour workdays and no weekends! This schedule allows our team members to enjoy an extended weekend, fostering a healthier work-life balance.

What is an Accountant?

An accountant is a professional responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and preparing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and tax returns. They help businesses or individuals track income, expenses, and overall financial health. Accountants also provide advice on financial matters, tax compliance, and can assist in budgeting and auditing processes. They play a critical role in ensuring financial transparency and helping organizations make informed financial decisions.

In this role, you will:

Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable

Prepare and analyze financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper record-keeping of all transactions

Assist with audits, internal and external, ensuring that financial records are compliant with laws and regulations

Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans

Perform clerical and data entry duties as needed

To succeed in this role, you must:

Have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

Have 2+ years of proven experience as an accountant or in a related role

Be proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience with accounting in a manufacturing environment is a plus

Experience with JobBoss is a plus
