Job Description

Summary: Lead engineering activities to design and develop electro-mechanical products, modify existing designs, optimize production techniques, and establish test procedures. Strong emphasis on FAA documentation and DO-160G compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and submit FAA documentation.
• Lead design and development of electro-mechanical systems.
• Optimize production methods and develop test protocols.
• Create engineering specifications and qualification plans, ensuring DO-160G compliance.
• Maintain technical advantage and ensure adherence to performance, reliability, cost, and quality standards.
• Oversee project execution to ensure quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure efficient transition from design to production.
• Innovate solutions using advanced techniques and technologies.
• Enhance processes and support marketing, sales, and application engineering.
• Report new developments impacting profit, schedule, costs, or customer relations.
• Keep abreast of technological advancements and train engineering personnel.

Qualifications:

Education details

Required Skills:

• Proficient in FAA processes and documentation.
• Expertise in electro-mechanical hardware design, low-voltage power supplies, and complex controllers.
• Experience in LED lighting design.
• Familiarity with DO-160G and aerospace certification.
• Skilled in real-time and embedded systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in high-reliability aerospace electronics and custom manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems related to electronic devices.
