We are seeking a highly skilled Maritime Boilermaker / Millwright to join our team. This position involves performing maintenance, repairs, and installations on ships, vessels, and offshore platforms. As a Boilermaker / Millwright in the maritime industry, you will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of structural steel components, machinery, and mechanical systems on board vessels. Pay: $20-$30/hr Shift: 1st shift You will work closely with other maritime professionals to ensure the efficient operation of shipboard systems, including propulsion, HVAC, and other mechanical components. Responsibilities: Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair metal structures, piping systems, boilers, and pressure vessels aboard ships and offshore platforms. Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and fitting of metal parts and components. Conduct inspections and troubleshooting of mechanical and structural systems, including pumps, motors, and hydraulic systems. Install and maintain machinery and equipment, including engines, generators, and other mechanical systems. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals to complete complex tasks. Perform preventative maintenance on ship systems and structures to ensure operational efficiency. Work with team members and ship crew to safely complete projects within deadlines. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and maritime regulations. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and modifications made. Respond to emergency repair needs in critical shipboard systems or equipment. Participate in ongoing safety training and adhere to all maritime safety protocols. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in Boilermaking, Millwright, or related field. At least 5 years of experience as a Boilermaker, Millwright, or a similar role, with a focus on maritime or shipboard work. Experience with welding, metalworking, and fabrication, including the use of various tools (e.g., arc welding, oxy-fuel cutting). Strong knowledge of ship systems, boilers, HVAC, and mechanical equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects. Comfortable working in confined or hazardous spaces as required on vessels and offshore platforms. Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials and work in challenging physical conditions. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to job sites. This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
