POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for an upbeat and talented restaurant server to join our team. This individual will be responsible for answering questions about our food and beverage offerings, taking orders and delivering those items to our guests. They will also be responsible for following all safety and sanitation policies. They will work closely with our culinary team and bartenders to ensure the best dining experience for our guests.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Have full knowledge of beverage lists and food menus;
  • Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards;
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage;
  • Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods;
  • Responsible for personal hygiene, grooming, clean uniform, and professional appearance;
  • Responsible for punctuality when reporting to work, and clocking in and out
  • To perform other duties as directed by your supervisor;
  • Serve food & beverage orders in a friendly, professional, and timely manner;
  • Clear tables during service;
  • Control guest checks and secure proper payment;
  • Provide exceptional service

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.

Experience: 1-2 years server experience, required. Wine knowledge is preferred.

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate fluently in English with hotel/restaurant guests and employees.
  • Ability to provide friendly, efficient and courteous service to guests.
  • Ability to work under pressure, be organized, self-motivated and work well with others.
  • Strong positive attitude and ability to initiate light conversation with guests.
  • Knowledge of hotel property and operating hours.
  • Customer focus and drive to deliver optimal employee and customer satisfaction.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and perform well under stressful circumstances.
  • Ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age;
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs;
  • Ability to bend, kneel, squat;
  • Ability to stand/walk for an 8 hour shift

Work Environment:

  • High guest interaction
  • Fast paced; high volume
  • Subject to extreme weather conditions including high heat, rain, wind, etc.
