Our company, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a dynamic and seasoned Project Manager for our Roofing division. This is a unique opportunity to join a team of professionals passionate about the art of construction and committed to delivering high-quality projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing roofing projects from conception to completion, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to customer satisfaction. This position requires a hands-on approach, with the Project Manager frequently on-site, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service department, and ensuring the successful execution of all roofing projects.

Responsibilities

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing all roofing projects, managing the day-to-day activities of the service department, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
2. Developing comprehensive project scopes and proposals, and effectively communicating these to clients and team members.
3. Working closely with the sales team to secure new business, and with the operations management team to ensure efficient workflow and resource allocation.
4. Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to queries, resolving issues, and ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
5. Implementing and maintaining safety protocols on job sites, and ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
6. Leading, motivating, and managing a team of skilled professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
7. Continuously monitoring project progress, making necessary adjustments, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
8. Collaborating with other managers and team members to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and achieve company goals.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on roofing.
2. Proven experience in managing the day-to-day operations of a service department.
3. Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices, including the development of scopes and proposals.
4. Previous experience in a site superintendent or construction manager role.
5. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
6. A track record of successful sales and operations management.
7. A keen eye for detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
9. A commitment to safety, with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
10. A degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
