Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to join our team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape the development and management of our core systems, with a focus on Salesforce. You will be at the forefront of defining and prioritizing the product roadmap, working closely with a variety of stakeholders including customers, developers, and business analysts to ensure that our products meet both customer needs and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Product Backlog: Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that tasks are aligned with business value and customer needs.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with customers, business analysts, and developers to gather requirements, create user stories, and ensure that product increments are successfully delivered.
Requirements Translation: Use flow charts, tickets, and other tools to clearly document and communicate customer requirements to the implementation teams.
Backlog Grooming: Regularly update and maintain the product backlog to ensure it is always aligned with business priorities.
Sprint Activities: Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure efficient delivery and continuous improvement.
Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for all product-related questions and concerns.
Monitor Performance: Track product performance and gather user feedback to continuously improve our offerings.
Stay Current: Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices to bring new ideas and innovation to the team.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation, with a focus on improving the user and customer experience.
Project Impact & Metrics: Define project impacts and success criteria, using KPIs to measure outcomes.
Collaborative Work: Work with project managers and other stakeholders to manage scope and budget changes through the change control process.
Training & Adoption: Facilitate end-user training sessions to promote product adoption across various business units.
Other Responsibilities: Take on additional tasks and projects as needed to support the success of the product and the organization.
Qualifications:

Experience: 3+ years as a Product Owner, with at least 2 years of experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in the mortgage industry is a plus.
Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to analyze, synthesize, and make decisions with a strategic mindset.
Life Cycle Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of the product, application, and project management life cycle.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change easily.
Initiative: A self-starter with the drive to achieve business goals and take ownership of projects.
Time Management: Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing time and workload efficiently.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive approach to shaping growth initiatives and driving success.
Skills and Abilities:

In-depth knowledge of product and application lifecycles.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on follow-through.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, Project Management software, and other relevant tools.
Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
