WHAT YOU'LL DO:

The responsibilities of the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) Administrator is to oversee the daily PACS operations consistently throughout Southeast Georgia Health System. Works closely with the Manager and/or Director of Medical Imaging, Providers/Physicians, Cardiology, and Information Technology (IT) in coordinating the PACS. All team members of SGHS will promote a culture of safety, follow established policies, and adhere to all state and federal regulatory requirements, Joint Commission requirements, and national patient safety standards. All team members of SGHS will promote service excellence by developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers, other team members, and the medical staff. BACKGROUND: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Radiologic Science preferred. Graduate of an accredited PACS certificate program or 3-years' experience as a full time PACS Administrator. Certified Imaging Informatics preferred
