Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Operator - Close Interval Survey Crew to join our team. This position involves traveling full-time to various job sites and performing close interval surveys on oil and gas pipelines using advanced technology. The ideal candidate will be comfortable walking 5-10 miles per day and be committed to ensuring the collection of accurate, high-quality survey data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Juniper Mesa 3 tablets with PCS Field Data Collector software for conducting close interval surveys on oil and gas pipelines.
• Travel full-time to various field locations for survey assignments.
• Walk 5-10 miles per day to perform surveys, navigating diverse terrains and weather conditions.
• Collect, record, and verify survey data with precision and attention to detail.
• Troubleshoot and maintain field equipment and software as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards while working on job sites.
• Collaborate with other crew members to ensure that data collection is completed on schedule.
• Report any discrepancies or issues encountered in the field.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience operating Juniper Mesa 3 tablets and PCS Field Data Collector software is preferred.
• Physical ability to walk 5-10 miles per day in various weather conditions and terrain.
• Willingness and ability to travel full-time for field assignments.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and reporting.
• Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Previous experience with close interval surveys or pipeline integrity work is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly with pipeline surveys.
• Familiarity with pipeline safety standards and close interval survey procedures.
