Role may involve mentoring staff/students upon approval.Key Responsibilities:Lead department positively.Adapt to new concepts.Perform venipuncture accurately.Conduct precise testing and troubleshoot.Adhere to SOPs for quality control.Maintain confidentiality.Participate in competency testing and professional development.Maintain certification and engage in education.Train new employees/students.Utilize computer and LIS systems effectively.Collaborate with diverse individuals.Support Medical Center's mission.Fulfill assigned duties.Requirements:Registered MLT/MT with valid credentials (ASCP, NCAMLP, AMT, ASMT or equivalent) or eligible within six (6) months.Proficient in lab instruments and result interpretation.Effective communicator.Capable of patient care across ages.Familiarity with laboratory policies and procedures.Self-motivated with the ability to work within set guidelines.
