Cross Country Allied is seeking a local contract Registered Respiratory Therapist for a local contract job in Burlington, Vermont.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position provides professional respiratory care to patients in varying states of health and illness by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the plan of care. The therapist must be able to physically respond quickly to any emergent situation and be able to endure repetitive physical movement. This position requires the ability to remain standing for the majority of the shift and serves patients over a wide variety of areas. The therapist is required to maintain proficiencies as defined by department expectations.
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an AMA approved program for Respiratory Care.
Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Vermont.
Registered Respiratory Therapist by the NBRC within one year of hire date.
Current ACLS, BLS & PALS.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
