Our clinical science covers each cancer type; has a strong focus in clinical trials of new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches, and in correlative laboratory studies. Our work is supported by a portfolio of peer-reviewed grants, industrial agreements and research endowments.
The Division of Oncology, in the Department of Medicine at Stanford University, is seeking a full-time Life Science Research Professional 2 to join our laboratory focused on translational research projects. Our lab, as part of the Division of Oncology, works at the intersection of basic laboratory science and clinical medicine. Our research actively uses tools from multiple disciplines, including molecular and cellular biology, genomics, bioengineering, and data science to study human cancers and build new tools to detect and treat disease.
Our group has a strong focus on novel diagnostic and therapeutic approaches with a goal of translating new discoveries into patient care. Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, and Lab Manager this research professional will conduct experiments to support ongoing projects in the lab, and independently conduct and analyze experiments. The position includes work with human specimens, cell culture, and nucleic acids including molecular biology and DNA sequencing. The successful applicant will become a member of a research team and must interact productively with other members of the team.

The expected pay range for this position is $81,130 to $94,895 per annum.
