Legal Billing Supervisor (1 day in office)

Legal Billing Supervisor - San Francisco, CA

Working Situation: 1 day in office

Role: As the Legal Billing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the billing process within the firm. This includes managing and coordinating the billing activities of attorneys and clients, ensuring accurate invoicing, and resolving any billing issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of Billing Specialists, Coordinators and Clerks
• Reviewing and approving bills prepared by attorneys
• Managing billing software and systems
• Monitoring client accounts and following up on any overdue payments
• Resolving billing disputes and issues with clients
• Providing financial reports and analysis to management
• Developing and implementing billing policies and procedures
• Training staff on billing processes and software
• Collaborating with attorneys and other departments to ensure accurate and efficient billing practices
• Ensuring compliance with legal and ethical billing standards

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in billing or finance within a law firm.
• Knowledge of legal billing software, such as Elite, Aderant, or ProLaw.
• Strong understanding of billing processes and procedures in a legal setting.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with attorneys, clients, and other team members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience managing a team or overseeing billing operations.

Compensation: 110,000-150,000+ depending on experience. A competitive compensation package will be available for this position including Base Salary, Annual bonus, medical, dental, vision, 401K match program, vacation and sick time, paid holidays, career growth programs, and much more!
