Job Description

Our client, a leader in the Industrial sector, is seeking a Janitorial Worker to join their team. As a Janitorial Worker, you will be part of the production department supporting the overall cleanliness and safety of the facility. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Janitorial Worker need on day shift $20/hr

Location: Ferndale, WA

Pay Range: $20/hr

What's the Job?

• Takes garbage out of both plants (lunchrooms, all bathrooms, inside production plants)
• Get rid of garbage left the night before (white container full of garbage by new plant) – Using a forklift
• Get containers ready for garbage
• Get blue and regular pallets for both plans and be alert in case they need more thru the day (depending on the orders they are running that day.)
• Help maintenance clean the blood around the garbage containers
• Sort out cardboard – one for recycling and the other for garbage.
• At noon, take garbage that comes out from packaging
• Pallets (broken, good ones, blue and red) that come out from the plant need to be sorted.
• Count 70 - 80 blue pallets that production use on a regular basis.
• At the end of the day, take garbage out again from both plants. Throw garbage away using the forklift, clean totes and garbage cans.
• Leave the area clean for next day.

What's Needed?

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work day shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
