Job Title:

Industrial Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems and processes in industrial environments. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure efficiency, reliability, and safety while meeting production and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development:

  • Create and optimize mechanical systems, machinery, and components for industrial applications.
  • Develop detailed technical drawings, specifications, and 3D models using CAD software.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new designs.

• Process Improvement:

  • Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
  • Apply principles of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Oversee the implementation of new technologies to streamline operations.

• Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

  • Provide technical support to maintenance teams for machinery and system troubleshooting.
  • Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
  • Investigate and resolve equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.

• Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with production, quality assurance, and safety teams to ensure alignment of engineering objectives.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for the procurement of materials and components.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

• Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure all mechanical designs and processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a culture of safety by adhering to best practices and implementing safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering , Industrial Engineering , or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred but not required.
• Proven experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and engineering analysis tools.
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, mechanical systems, and production processes.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in industrial environments, including exposure to noise, heat, and standing for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) occasionally.
