Our client in Ephrata, PA is seeking general laborers to join their team! 

STARTING ASAP! 

Job Title: General Laborer

Location: Ephrata PA

Pay Range: $15/hr
Shift: 1st 6a-230p M-F plus OT

TEMP TO HIRE / Opportunity to advance within

What’s the Job?
1. Is aware of and complies with all GMP and OSHA requirements to perform the essential functions of the job safely.

2. Performs basic duties such as placing labels on lids, placing lids on containers, removing containers from production lines, ensure containers are the correct size, reading scales, weigh out product, and placing them on racks.

3. Inspects and removes defects or any extraneous materials from product.

4. Reports any mechanical or safety problems to the Lead person and/or Business Unit Manager.

5. Adheres to all safety practices, including wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.

6. Keeps work area clean by sweeping, shoveling, dumping, or disposing of various materials.

7. Should not leave assigned area unless given permission by Lead person or Business Unit Manager.

8. Adheres to all plant hygiene standards to ensure product integrity.

9. Informs the Lead person and Business Unit Manager of any problems that may occur.

10. Responsible for employee safety, food safety, legality, and quality within the scope of the job’s responsibilities.

11. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Must be okay working in cold environment

Ability to perform varied basic duties with appropriate direction.
