Airfield - Electrical Engineer

The Opportunity The Airfield Electrical Engineer will form part of our vibrant global team and play a key role in promoting and implementing our latest airside technologies in the Americas. This includes becoming their technical liaison with the FAA as well as evaluating and crafting project designs for airport visual aids.
Business Line: Serving major airside business lines including airfield lighting control and monitoring, aircraft visual docking systems, Air Traffic Control departure & arrival management, and advanced weather observation systems.

You will make an impact by…. - Engaging as a technical expert with FAA, Transport Canada
- Collaborating and building relationships with industry and airport engineering firms.
- Offering internally and externally technical advice as well as attending and presenting at relevant industry events.
- Preparing and adjusting our cutting-edge engineering documentation and tools for the FAA market.
- Manage airfield engineering projects developed by multidisciplinary global teams ensuring they meet quality standards, deadlines and budget constraints.
- Producing and reviewing innovative airfield engineering technical documentation and drawings.
- Advocate and support our in-house engineering seminars educating and sharing our airside design knowledge
The talent we want to inspire has... - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE)
- 3-5 years of years related experience in airfield electrical infrastructure, with a specific focus on airfield visual aids
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2018 or higher, with a strong background in MS Office and MS Teams.
- US Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer or similar
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively in a multicultural setting.
- Knowledge and understanding of airfield project design processes
This would be a plus but not a must!- Advanced proficiency in Spanish
- Familiarity with Autodesk Vault, REVIT, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD Civil 3D
