Job Description

Client is looking for a dynamic and results driven individual to join our team as a Benefits Broker Manager. We work in a high energy, high expectations environment. We place a focus on balancing our professional and personal responsibilities.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Manages and performs benefits brokering and administration to current clients, providing excellent customer service while assisting with benefits issues. The current book of business has 39 accounts, which represents about 2,000 employees.

• Works closely with Benefits Operations Manager to plan and direct the work of assigned staff.

• Identify opportunities to add new business through working referral channels, assisting Business Development in new deals, and other instances that would be beneficial.

• Reconciles benefits statements.

• Provides benefits support and expertise internally working with all Partners’ personnel on any benefit product and/or client model.

• Maintains client files and plan documents.

• Answers client and participant questions with regard to insurance plans.

• Enters benefits changes into payroll and benefits systems as required.

• Sets up and conducts benefits informational meetings for clients.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

3-5 years of broker experience, preferably in the PEO, HR outsourcing, or B2B services industry.

Experience with UKG, Benefitter, Carrier Platforms, Excel.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to create persuasive and impactful content.

Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
