Western Kentucky University is excited to announce we are actively searching for our next Academic Advisor and Military Programs Coordinator. The Academic Advisor and Military Programs Coordinator will be housed at the WKU at Ft. Knox office and play an important role in our students' educational experiences to include connecting with prospective transfer students both on the military installation and throughout the region.
WKU at Ft. Knox serves a diverse student group of active-duty military students, veterans, civilian and government employees, and their family members, including adult, in-person, and online learners. This position is a member of the Regional Campuses advising team and collaborates closely with various WKU departments providing guidance, support, and in-person access for students at the WKU at Ft. Knox office and surrounding region.
As Coordinator of Military Programs, this position serves as the liaison between the Fort Knox Army Continuing Education Services (ACES) staff and WKU. The position oversees the daily operations of the Ft. Knox office and classroom spaces, works with the Ft. Knox ACES team on higher education events and processes, and reports on WKU progress related to the WKU/US Army agreements.
This position plays a vital role as part of the Elizabethtown-Ft. Knox Regional Campus team in recruiting students and engaging with our community. This position reports to the Director, Regional Campuses.

Salary Range: $35,600-$39,360
