Patrick Britton-Harr
Co-Founder & Chairman
Patrick Britton-Harr is Chairman of AMS Infection Prevention Partners and the Executive Director and CEO of Coastal Management Group (CMG). As a founding partner, Patrick has been the driving force behind CMG’s growth into a nationally reaching healthcare company dedicated to long-term care and infection prevention.
Since 2006, Patrick has been an entrepreneur active in founding, developing and ultimately selling several service-oriented healthcare companies committed to long -term care, initially entering the segment by creating a large network of successful mobile dentistry practices across the East Coast. Patrick’s expertise is in understanding and executing on complex healthcare reimbursement mechanisms, including insurance policies, managed care and Medicaid/Medicare (specifically the non-covered medical expense deduction program).
Patrick is dedicated to keeping the entrepreneurial spirit alive. He is an active Angel Investor for startups in and around Charleston, South Carolina, and resides in Annapolis, Maryland.
G. Ellsworth Harris
Chief Executive Officer
Ellsworth Harris (known to most as “El”) has served in various operations and business development roles in long-term care for more than15 years, working with numerous executives, operators, REITS and ancillary service providers on complicated clinical and financial issues.
In the early part of his career, El oversaw the development of PrevMED’s mobile dental service. Responsible for equipment, staffing, logistics, clinical mentorship and oversight, he ultimately expanded the operation into six states and more than 400 communities before it was acquired by Mid America Health in Greenwood, Indiana. While serving PrevMED, El worked closely with federal, state, and local governments to promote a unique reimbursement program so Medicaid residents could obtain clinically necessary dental care that previously was unavailable to them. El was successful in securing dental care reimbursement from several states, a career highlight.
In 2016, El joined Real Time Medical Systems, the pioneer in Interventional Analytics, where he served as chief sales and marketing officer. Under his leadership, Real Time improved per-unit sales by 1,000%. El’s success at Real Time included selling proven solutions to long-term care facilities and expanding resale channels, in addition to providing operational, sales and marketing strategies.
El enjoys and is committed to mentoring the next generation of long-term care entrepreneurs. He participates as a consultant and board member in two early-stage companies serving the senior population – Advanced PICC, helping them develop their unique on-site blood transfusion operation, and EmediCall, a secure communication and critical care response platform. Chris Morgan, MD FAAP MACP
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Morgan has been practicing internal medicine and pediatrics in a group practice associated with Baptist Health Stuttgart Medical Center in Arkansas for the past 16 years where he has served as Chief of Staff. Board-certified in internal medicine and pediatrics, his practice consists of both inpatient and outpatient adult and pediatric patients. Dr. Morgan also serves as a regional hospice director for Baptist Health systems. Additionally, for the past 14 years, Dr. Morgan has served as the medical director for Chambers Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Carlisle, Arkansas, a 90-bed facility that provides care for both long-term care residents and patients with complex rehabilitation needs.
Dr. Morgan received his BA in Biology from Hendrix College in Arkansas and received his MD degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he graduated with honors. He completed his internal medicine/pediatrics residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, including training at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and the McClellan VA Medical Center, where he served as chief resident his last year. Dr. Morgan maintains privileges at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Baptist Medical Center Stuttgart, and Baptist Medical Center Little Rock and sits on the Arkansas Antimicrobial Committee of the Arkansas Department of Health.
Dr. Morgan commits time to his community as he serves on the Stuttgart Memorial Hospital Foundation board, serves as vice president of the Stuttgart Public School board of education and is on the board of directors of Farmers and Merchants Bank, which has headquarters is in Stuttgart and 29 facilities around Arkansas. He also serves on a number of boards for the youth of his community.
Heather Hutson, RN, IP-BC
Chief Infection Control Officer
Motivated by her dedication to the well-being of the geriatric population, Heather received her RN degree from Baptist Health Schools-Little Rock in 2010, while working weekends as an LPN charge nurse for Chambers Nursing Home Center, a long-term care facility in Arkansas. After a short stint at Baptist Hospital working all units, it wasn’t long before Heather found herself back at Chambers as the nursing services coordinator where, among her many responsibilities, she actively contributed to the facility’s QA program. Within two years Heather was promoted to director of nursing. In her new role she oversaw the infection control program, reducing the use of unnecessarily prescribed antibiotics and lowering the facility’s infection rate by an astounding 75%. In addition to maintaining a 4-5 star rating, under her direction Chambers won many awards, including “Most Improved Quality Measure” and “Facility Of The Year.”
A member of the Arkansas Nursing Home Nurses Association and nominee for Arkansas DON of the year in 2019, Heather is a Board-Certified Infection Preventionist as well as a Dementia Well-being Specialist and CPR and First-Aid instructor.
